New Delhi, Sep 14 (SocialNews.XYZ) The Enforcement Directorate (ED)'s Hindi Journal 'Pravartan Sandesh' has been conferred the "Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar 2025-26" (Second Prize under Region 'A') by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs, an official said on Monday.
The Puraskar was presented by Ministers of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar and Nityanand Rai on Monday on the occasion of the Hindi Diwas-2026 and the Sixth All India Official Language Conference, held in Mumbai, an official statement said.
The event was organised under the chairmanship of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
The conferment of the "Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar" is a significant national recognition of the ED's commitment to the effective implementation of the Official language Hindi, the statement said.
'Pravartan Sandesh' is the Hindi in-house Journal of the ED.
"Through the Hindi journal, an endeavour is made to present complex legal, financial and investigative subjects pertaining to the central probe agency's domain, along with activities relating to the Official language Hindi, in a simple, accessible and effective manner," the statement said.
The journal seeks not only to present the various dimensions of the Directorate's work comprehensively in Hindi, but also to promote the progressive use of Hindi as the Official Language in official work, it added.
During 2025-26, Issue 9 of 'Pravartan Sandesh' was centred on the theme 'ED's Campaign against Terror Financing'.
The issue prominently showcased the Directorate's actions against terror financing, besides covering various dimensions of financial crime and matters concerning national and economic security, the statement said.
It also provided a wider perspective on ED's counter-terror-financing interventions and the financial networks associated with such activities, it added.
"Continuing this thematic approach, Issue 10 was centred on 'From Public Interest to National Interest: ED's Victim-Centric Actions and Relief'. The issue highlighted key areas including law enforcement, transparency, extended justice and restitution, a secure economy and Viksit Bharat, as well as international cooperation and coordination," the statement said.
"In particular, it brought to the fore ED's victim-centric approach, encompassing the tracing and attachment of Proceeds of Crime and facilitating the eventual restoration of properties to victims," it said.
Issue 10 highlighted the Directorate's efforts towards safeguarding the country's financial integrity and advancing a victim-centric approach to enforcement in an accessible form.
Earlier, the ED had secured the third prize in the All India Hindi Short Film Making Competition on AI, organised by the Department of Official Language under the Ministry of Home Affairs, in 2024, further reflecting the Directorate's innovative efforts and encouragement towards the promotion and effective use of official language Hindi.
